ENTREPRENEURS AT WORK

EO Poland Ukraine Relief & MyEO Real Help for Ukraine
are partnering to support Ukrainian entrepreneurs.

Ukraine is full of amazing entrepreneurs, from software to fashion to manufacturing. You can help the citizens of Ukraine by supporting their entrepreneurs. Buy needed goods from Ukrainian small businesses to donate to those in need. Think of it as investing in Ukraine’s future today.

While many refugees remain abroad, many others continue to return home to a country devastated by war. The needs are immense and the resources limited, but the spirit of entrepreneurship is alive and well. Businesses continue to help rebuild and provide for their communities, despite the overwhelming odds they face in maintaining their operations. By helping provide aid through Ukrainian businesses, you:
  • Support those in need to receive crucially-needed items
  • Support Ukrainian business owners, their employees, and local economy
  • Reduce or eliminate shipping cost
  • Help businesses generate tax revenue for their country

We understand the importance of transparency within our initiative and will continue to provide updates on the impact your donation makes. Below is a step-by-step process on how donations get converted into tangible items used to help people in need.

  1. Donation is received on our site
  2. Money is transferred on a weekly basis to the Volin Regional Charitable Foundation to make purchases. Direct purchase of goods is done with complete respect to our donors' wishes. Allocation of donated goods is based on the need at sites within the VRCF network.
  3. Both the purchase and delivery of goods by VRCF volunteers is managed with oversight and accountability from our team.
Due to commercial regulations within Ukraine, purchases cannot be directly made by Real Help Ukraine and delivered within the country, as all goods must be delivered to the buyers’ residence. As such, we rely on VRCF to make the appropriate purchases and manage the logistics process with our oversight.

We have partnered with three Ukrainian businesses with production capacity for urgently-needed goods within the country, and a Ukraine-based NGO able to distribute the purchased goods. You can learn more about the background of each business by clicking below in each donation category.

To facilitate purchasing and delivery of our donations, we have set up a contractual partnership between EO Poland and the Volin Regional Charitable Foundation, based in Lutsk, Ukraine. The Volin Regional Charitable Foundation is a Ukrainian-registered non-profit that organizes humanitarian assistance throughout the country, providing logistical support and direct aid through its centers across the country. Public record and registration information for the association can be found here. You can also see updates on some of their work on their Facebook page (here) .
Lodging

Sleeping bags $50

Sleeping bags have continuously been among the most highly-requested items for donation since the beginning of the war. They provide people with comfort and a sanitary solution for sleeping, while giving shelter volunteers more flexibility in setting up living quarters.

ChildrenFood

Baby food (225 jars) $150

The war in Ukraine has had a devastating effect on not only parents and their children, but also the businesses that feed and support them. Many businesses have been forced to limit production or even close entirely.

Safety

Safety Vests $300

As the war rages across the country, first responders continue to put themselves at risk to help evacuate civilians and provide urgent aid in dangerous areas every day. Often poorly-equipped, these heroes sacrifice their own personal safety to ensure the safety and well-being of others.
